House Amenities
Alpine Chalet is a fully furnished and completely equipped four bedroom home with six beds, allowing up to 11 guests in beds (reduced rates for using three beds). All you need are groceries & beverages!
The kichen is fully equipped with cookware, silverware and dishes. Kitchen appliances include microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, toaster. You can easily prepare a feast (see Video)! Some staple supplies are found in the kitchen cupboards.
Bring personal shampoos and toiletries.
Radio with CD player provided and many CDs from which to choose.
Cable TV with DVD player and several movies from which to choose.
Master Bath includes a jetted tub, large enough for two!
NOTE: There is no wireless internet currently, but wireless internet is available in the Ptarmigan office, at the Ski Resort, as well as numerous establishments in Whitefish, including the public library. Cell phone reception is good and sufficient for data.

Room by Room, Floor by Floor Description
Level I - Lower Floor:
- Triple Bedroom (double/twin bunk)
- Double Bedroom (two double beds)
- Full Bath with two sinks and granite counter
- Plus storage for skis and other outdoor equipment
Level II - Middle Floor:
- Living Room - wrap-around leather couch with two reclining chairs, Cable TV/DVD
- Dining Room & Counter Dining
- Kitchen: Fully equipped with cookware, silverware and china, microwave, coffee pot, dishwasher, toaster
- Half Bath with granite counter
- Utility Room with Washer/Dryer (provide personal detergents)
- Summer only: Outdoor deck with gas grill
Level III - Upper Floor:
- Master Bedroom (king bed) with reading nook
- Queen Bedroom (queen bed)
- Master Bath with shower, jetted tub and two sinks with granite counters

Ptarmigan Village
PTARMIGAN VILLAGE offers the best amenities found in the entire valley (village map):
1. Indoor Pool Facility, including new indoor salt water swimming pool (20' x 60'), sauna, and locker rooms with showers (see photo).
2. Heated path from indoor pool to large sectional outdoor Hot Tub - large enough for 20 guests! (see photo).
2. Outdoor swimming pool and sauna that overlooks Whitefish Lake, located on a forested mountainside in walking distance from Alpine Chalet (see photo).
3. Private beach on Whitefish Lake with large day dock, outhouses and picnic area.
4. Tennis courts (four newly surfaced).
5. Basketball court.
6. Children's playground.
7. Large children's fishing, swimmable pond.
8. Walking/jogging/hiking paths throughout the 53 acres.
