ALPINE CHALET is easily accessible, located about half way between Whitefish and Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort; a mere 6 miles from downtown Whitefish (aka "The Fish").

DIRECTIONS TO WHITEFISH

Planes:  Glacier park International Airport (FCA) is just 17 miles from Alpine Chalet (19 mi from Whitefish Mountain Resort).

Trains:  Whitefish is a major stop for Amtrak.  Every day visitors arrive on the "Empire Builder" from points east and west via rail, including Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis, Spokane and Chicago.  The historic Whitefish Depot is just minutes from Alpine Chalet.

Vehicles:  In the U.S. take Interstate 90 west of Missoula to US Hwy 93 North.  From there, it's only 125 miles to Whitefish.  From Canada (Port of Rooseville), Alpine Chalet is only 58 miles from the border on Hwy 93 South.

Glacier National Park is about a 45 minute drive from Whitefish, and about 40 minutes to Flathead Lake (the largest fresh water lake west of the Mississippi).
